Hi, I'm Kayla Edwards!

By day, I'm a 5th grade teacher and proud dog mom to Illyria, but my true passion lies in fitness and empowering others to achieve their best selves.

My fitness journey began in 2018 after my volleyball career ended. Throughout high school, I was a 3-time state champion in volleyball, an experience that ingrained in me a competitive spirit and drive. Volleyball was my entire life during my teenage years, and when it concluded, I felt lost. That’s when I discovered the gym. I immersed myself in learning and began training friends for free, which sparked my passion for fitness coaching. In 2020, I discovered bodybuilding and have since dedicated myself to building a physique that reflects my inner strength. Today, I compete as a bikini athlete in the NPC, continually challenging myself and honing my skills.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and am an ACSM certified personal trainer. My coaching is centered around building confidence. Training gave me the confidence that transcends all areas of life—it's not just physical, but mental too. Since prioritizing my health and fitness, I have leveled up in every aspect of my life, and I am passionate about helping others experience that same transformation. I specialize in working with individuals who want to gain confidence and believe in their ability to achieve their goals.

I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to achieving fitness goals. My role as your coach is to understand you and create a personalized plan that fits your lifestyle and preferences. We can achieve your dream physique holistically and without restriction. I emphasize training hard in the gym while prioritizing overall health. Finding what you love and incorporating it into our plan is key to your success.

My vision for my clients is to instill a sense of competition and build unwavering confidence. It's about competing against oneself and constantly striving for improvement. I aim to inspire individuals to take risks and make bold decisions for their well-being. Ultimately, I want my clients to feel their best inside and out, empowering them to reach their full potential.
